White Bubble

My son has a finger purple with a white bubble that seems to be puss. How to deal with this?

My son said he slammed his finger on the door and now the finger like a little purple and white of a bubble formed just below the nail. I do not want to take doctors, because it does not seem serious. What can I do at home to address this issue?

Hmmmm purple (I have 3 children who grew up on a farm) means there is no purple oxygenated blood to reach the area. Pus means it is really really infected.
